Activity Based Work Planning

All the safety personnel are briefed with their duties and responsibilities. Each area where they are deputed is scrutinised in advance with the details of activities going to take place next day. The zones and places where there is scope and danger of accidents are clearly highlighted on printed work sheet and that is given to concerned safety inspector or supervisor. That way the whole area is covered and daily distribution of safety surveillance is accomplished. We organise our work schedules on daily basis for better results. Before construction of new enclosures, platforms, cabins and structures starts, our safety personnel assigned to overview will see that forms for each job are filled with details like location/contact no of nearest clinic, nature of job with estimate of time required for completion, details of materials & tools to be used, details of workmen etc. He will inspect personal protective equipment to be used by workmen and will high light on work sheet the activities or process giving rise to scope of accidents.
