Inspection of Tools and Equipments

As per our prescribed safety procedure, it is mandatory to get clearance from site safety supervisor for making use of Tools and Equipments any time. The supervisor will identify the equipment like hydraulic jack with its test certificate showing capacity and same way he will check lifting belts/wire ropes/shackles/hooks to be used with cranes. It is the duty of safety supervisor to check the makes, brands and worthiness of hand tools which are approved as per Australian safety standards. The sign boards and placards will be specially fixed in the areas where excavation is being done or where power tools are being used. These will show the word DANGER with relevant sign or picture of activity going on. The Safety Tape (Red & White) will be fixed around certain area which is to be made out of bound for other work men.
